Dirk is an engineer in his early forties, who recently (in september 2001) started his own company, with fortunately growing succes. His "office" is a room right here at home, which of course is very practical when we have kittens running around the house. And maybe a genuine office with a small crew of personnel is lying ahead in the future? He studied and got his degree at the University of Technology in Delft, Holland while working fulltime at Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid-Holland, our local water distributor. Dirk has always been an enormous animal lover, which showed itself when he first came to my house and had more interest in my rabbit than in me. Fortunately that changed over time.
